What’s it all about? 

As part of our focus on the environment and community upcycling, we are proud to introduce Vintage Originals by miteigi, an exciting and responsible program of refurbishment of classic items, for re-offering to a new generation of environmentally conscious consumers who value traditional quality pre-owned products. 

You’ll find this new range in our Expressions section. When it comes to the environment and repurposing, every little helps and during our expanding rollout over the coming months, we’ll share more on exciting ways for your involvement. 

Each unique vintage originals item is carefully assessed and professionally pre-checked prior to listing and categorized into one of four pre-owned identification grades. Each grade lets you know the overall condition and offering where appropriate, a range of suggestions on that items potential and possible usage options.

The Grades

The four pre-owned grades are: 

• Grade A excellent pre-owned condition, no chips, no cracks, with no visible wear or tear, commensurate with its age. 
• Grade B good pre-owned condition, with very minimal visible wear or tear, commensurate with its age. 
• Grade C fair pre-owned condition, with visible wear or tear, commensurate with its age. Suitable as is or as a restorative project. 
• Grade D attention required pre-owned condition, with extensive visible wear or tear, commensurate with its age, ideal as a restoration project. 

Care is taken to ensure everything is cleaned, whilst keeping any original patina, scuffs, scratches, or chips, allowing you to choose, if at all,  what repurposing or additional refurbishment you may wish to do, to personalize the item to your style and taste.
