Kogei is the Japanese word for craft—the devotion of the artisan. Megumi is grace—the blessing received by the one who holds it. Here, they meet.
Our collections are born from this balance. Raw, unyielding cement is hand-poured and polished to an anchor-like weight. Delicate, wheel-thrown Japanese ceramics cradle hand-poured soy wax. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is perfect, because perfection is sterile. Instead, we embrace the wabi-sabi of the maker's touch.
