BAND MEASUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Stand in front of a mirror and wrap the measurement tape around your body, right underneath your breasts. Make sure the measurement tape is horizontal and wraps tightly around your body. The measurement you identify is your band size in inches. If you find yourself being between sizes, for instance 41, your correct size could be both 40 and 42.

CUP SIZE MEASUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Stand in front of a mirror and measure around the fullest part of your breast. In order to get the cup size, you would need to subtract the bust measurements from the band measurements.

Here's an example:

Cup Size = Bust Size - Band Size 0 = AA <1 = A 1 = B 2 = C 3 = D 4 = DD 5 = DDD/E 6 = F 7 = G 8 = H

We recommend that cashmere is always folded rather than hung, as hanging can put pressure on the shoulders, which can lead to stretching and weakened seams. To fold your cashmere jumper, lay it flat with the front facing down. Bring each side of the jumper inwards, approximately a third of the way, and fold the hem to meet the shoulders. This technique is suitable for both everyday and long-term storage.

How to apply metal leaf 

1. Using a brush, apply a thin even coat of gilding glue to the surface. Dependent on your project you may apply up to 30% water to thinner the glue for your application. Only apply the glue to areas you intend to cover with metal leaf. Allow to dry for 15 minutes or until the glue becomes transparent.(for a traditional finish apply a base coat of deep red or terracotta paint, before applying the gilding glue) 

2. Metal leaf sheets are delicate so it is recommended that cotton gloves are worn to protect the leaf.
Alternatively- leaving the metal leaf in the book, peel back the protective sheet and gently press the book onto your surface. 

3. Using a soft dry brush, smooth the metal leaf until it adheres to the surface and all excess metal leaf has been removed. 

4. For best results apply a clear coat to prevent tarnishing. Dip the brush or sponge into the clear coat and apply to the surface of your project. Dependent on your project you may apply up to 20% water to thinner the clear coat for your application.
